Vacuum lid film

Recently, the task of increasing shelf life of products has become more topical, which determined the appearance of new packaging methods and new, more complex packaging materials, capable of dealing with this task.

We are talking about multilayer packaging materials with high barrier qualities, which allow to noticeably increase shelf life and prevent deterioration of meat and meat products, fish, cheese, bread and fruit.

The technological process employs reel materials, which can be roughly divided into two types: vacuum lid film and vacuum moulded film.

Polyplen^tm vacuum lid (upper) film is a composite of bi-oriented polyamide and co-extruded polyethylene films.  

Polyplen^tm is characterized by a total absence of polymer smell. Due to the fact, that the film is oriented, it does not stretch during transport on conveyor, simplifying work for operating staff, especially in case of patterns on the film. The technology of producing Polyplen^tm allows to print images between the layers, providing glossy surface and non-destructive nature of the image.

Polyplen^tm is used both in vacuum packaging and in modified atmosphere packaging. Exact^tm  film being a modification of Polyplen^tm film is designed for welding seams with traces of oil, grease, foreign enclosures which is very important while packing goods in oil, pickle, etc.
